Rocco Fizz

INGREDIENTS:

  • Gin-50ml
  • Lemon juice - 35ml
  • Wild berry syrup - 30ml
  • Top up with Sparkling Rocco
  • Garnish: spring mint, dried red apple

    How to make the wild berry syrup:

    1. Boil the berries and sugar. In a medium saucepan, combine the berries, sugar and water.
    2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then mash with a potato masher and stir while it cooks for 2 minutes.
    3. (Optional: If you don't like seeds or chunks in your syrup, strain the syrup through cheesecloth to remove the seeds, then return it to a clean pot.)
    4. Remove the syrup from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

      FINAL INSTRUCTIONS:

      1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
      2. Add gin, wild berry syrup and fresh lemon juice to the shaker.
      3. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to cool the mixture.
      4. Strain the mixture into a chilled glass filled with ice cubes.
      5. Top it up with Sparkling Rocco.
      6. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
      7. Garnish with mint and dried red apples.
      8. Enjoy your ROCCO FIZZ!
