Sparkling Rocco

INGREDIENTS:

  • Gin - 50ml
  • Lemon juice - 35ml
  • Wild berry syrup - 30ml
  • Top up with Sparkling Rocco
  • Garnish: Spring mint, dried red apple

    How to make the wild berry syrup:

    1. Cook the berries and sugar. In a medium-sized pot, mix the berries, sugar, and water.
    2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then mash and stir with a potato masher while it cooks for 2 minutes.
    3. (Optional: If you do not like seeds or pieces in your syrup, strain the syrup through a cheesecloth to remove the seeds, and then return it to a clean pot).
    4. Remove the syrup from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

      FINAL INSTRUCTIONS:

      1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
      2. Pour gin, wild berry syrup, and fresh lemon juice into the shaker.
      3. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to cool the mixture.
      4. Strain the mixture into a chilled glass filled with ice cubes.
      5. Top it off with Sparkling Rocco.
      6. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
      7. Garnish with mint and dried red apples.
      8. Enjoy your ROCCO FIZZ!
