Cranberry Bitter Delight

INGREDIENTS:

Mezcal Cranberry - 40ml
Campari - 40ml
Sparkling Rocco
Garnish: Dried red apple slice with some cranberry jam

Mezcal Cranberry:

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup Mezcal
  • 1 clean glass jar with lid

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Wash the fresh cranberries thoroughly and remove all stems and debris.
  2. Take the clean glass jar and put the cranberries in it.
  3. Gently mash the cranberries with a hand blender or the back of a spoon to release their juice and flavor. They don't need to be completely mashed, just enough to break them up.
  4. Pour the mezcal over the crushed cranberries in the glass.
  5. Close the jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  6. Store the jar in a cool, dark place for about 3-5 days.
  7. During this time, the mezcal absorbs the cranberry aroma.
  8. Shake the jar gently once a day to ensure the flavors blend well.
  9. After the brewing time, strain the mezcal with cranberries through a fine sieve.
  10. Your cranberry-infused mezcal is now ready for use in Cocktails.

    FINAL INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Pour the Mezgal and Campari into a glass with a large piece of ice.
    2. Stir gently with just a spoon for 30 seconds.
    3. Add Sparkling Rocco until the glass is full.
    4. Garnish your CRANBERRY BITTER DELIGHT with a dried apple slice and cranberry jam
