Cranberry Bitter Delight

INGREDIENTS:

Mezcal Cranberry - 40ml
Campari - 40ml
Sparkling Rocco
Garnish: Dried red apple slice with a bit of cranberry jam

Mezcal-Cranberry:

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup Mezcal
  • 1 clean glass container with lid

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Wash the fresh cranberries thoroughly and remove all stems and debris.
  2. Take the clean glass container and place the cranberries inside.
  3. Gently crush the cranberries with an immersion blender or the back of a spoon to release their juice and flavor. They do not need to be completely crushed, just enough to break them open.
  4. Pour the Mezcal over the crushed cranberries into the glass.
  5. Seal the jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  6. Store the jar in a cool, dark place for about 3-5 days.
  7. During this time, the mezcal will absorb the lingonberry flavor.
  8. Shake the jar gently once a day to ensure the flavors blend well.
  9. After the steeping time, strain the mezcal with lingonberries through a fine sieve.
  10. Your mezcal infused with lingonberries is now ready for use in cocktails.

    FINAL INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Pour the mezcal and Campari into a glass with a large ice cube.
    2. Stir gently with a spoon for 30 seconds.
    3. Add Sparkling Rocco until the glass is full.
    4. Garnish your CRANBERRY BITTER DELIGHT with a dried apple slice and cranberry jam
