INGREDIENTS:
Mezcal Cranberry - 40ml
Campari - 40ml
Sparkling Rocco
Garnish: Dried red apple slice with a bit of cranberry jam
Mezcal-Cranberry:
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 cup Mezcal
- 1 clean glass container with lid
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Wash the fresh cranberries thoroughly and remove all stems and debris.
- Take the clean glass container and place the cranberries inside.
- Gently crush the cranberries with an immersion blender or the back of a spoon to release their juice and flavor. They do not need to be completely crushed, just enough to break them open.
- Pour the Mezcal over the crushed cranberries into the glass.
- Seal the jar with a tight-fitting lid.
- Store the jar in a cool, dark place for about 3-5 days.
- During this time, the mezcal will absorb the lingonberry flavor.
- Shake the jar gently once a day to ensure the flavors blend well.
- After the steeping time, strain the mezcal with lingonberries through a fine sieve.
- Your mezcal infused with lingonberries is now ready for use in cocktails.
FINAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- Pour the mezcal and Campari into a glass with a large ice cube.
- Stir gently with a spoon for 30 seconds.
- Add Sparkling Rocco until the glass is full.
- Garnish your CRANBERRY BITTER DELIGHT with a dried apple slice and cranberry jam
